A number of short videos were produced today for Shane Hammill. They involved various actors and situations to be used in a new project called a Thousand Wishes which is, at this moment, under wraps!

Haddow Group

A stills fashion shoot, lasting several days, was undertaken at the studio this week by Bradford based lifestyle company, The Haddow Group, this time focusing on swimwear.

Virtual Reality

No backdrop was needed in the studio today for a video highlighting the very latest 3D Virtual Reality Headset, the Aura Visor... and I can tell you, it was absolutely amazing!

Fit for Keeps

A two day shoot, involving both video and stills was undertaken this week for Bramham based, Fit for keeps

The stills and instructional videos, taken by Manto creative and Paul Craig, are to be used on the companies newly created website and highlight the use of the companies latest piece of revalutionary apparatus... the Tuffit.

Positive Image hosts the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning

Tina from Positive Image put together a charity coffee morning today at the studio for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of their Words Biggest Coffee Morning event.

Neighbours, friends and clients alike were all welcome at the event which saw lots of money raised for this worthwhile charity.

Our biggest set build yet!

This massive 2 storey set with several variations was produced over two weeks for UK stairlift manufacturer, Acorn Stairlifts. The Set was for use in their latest TV ads for world wide distribution. The set was re-decorated and re-vamped for the different regions of the word and involved the installation of a mock-up marble and wrought iron staircase for use in the Italian market. The ad was shot by the Brawl Agency. The finished ad for the UK region can be seen on the link below:

Outdoor fashion shoot…

More garments were shot today for fashion designer and stylist , Shammah Maravanyika for use on her website. This time utilising various outdoor locations as well as set ups in the studio.

Kino Flo now available at the studio…

At the studio we have just invested in some of the best lighting around from world renowned maker Kino Flo. It is available for hire for use at the studio and, subject to availability, can be used away from the studio on your other projects*. Whilst primarily intended for video and TV production work,it is equally at home lighting your still shots, whether you're shooting products, fashion or room sets.

We have a Kino Flo Select Kit which comprises a pair of 4 foot, 4 bank fittings, ballast units, C-stands and 25 foot extension leads.

We also have Kio Flo Celeb 200 DMX Kit.
Kino Flo's state-of-the-art LED light.

Paul and Tom from Leeds based production company, Manto TV were down at the studio again today for their client, Hisense. They were shooting the latest SERO8 tablets from the Chinese manufacturer for use on its web site and YouTube channel. Along with its TV's and other electrical goods, Hisense hopes to become as big a player in the UK as it is in the far east.

An interview was carried out this morning at the studio for BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat. The interview was conducted with Josie Cunningham during make up, prior to a stills photoshoot  leading up to the screening of her documentary,
Josie: The Most hated Woman in Britain? to be aired on Channel 4 tomorrow night at 10pm.

Lying down on the job…

Another shoot for Bradford based training company, Qualsafe, this time showing the correct method of people handling, aimed mainly at Carers and Care Workers. Everthing from the correct method of helping a patient get in and out of bed, to hoisting them into a chair, was shot by Harrogate based photographer, Anton Stark.

A health and safety video was produced today by TVA LTD who specialise in heath and saftey video training material using our green screen set up. The actor will be superimposed on to scenes showing various hazards, chemical reactions, fires and even explosions!

Our last hire of 2014 was to Manto TV, they were producing a piece to camera for an instructional video for their client, a HR and accounting software producer.

Santa Flys into Pudsey early… with Jet2

Santa dropped in to the studio early this year when Motiv Productions chose Positive Image to produce series of ads for their client, Jet2 Holidays, for use on their website. The ads are to  run throughout December for their Christmas Cracker Advent Calendar Competition. The videos, shot against a blue screen, are to have a CGI background added in post production showing a log cabin, roaring fire and maybe even an Elf or two!

Do it in style… Safestyle!

Some scenes from the latest TV ad for Safestyle UK were shot at Positive Image last month. We created the set for this fun ad which made use of bubble machines, a foam canon and culminated in a pillow fight!

The fun ad, aired throughout the ITV region, is accompanied by an equally fun soundtrack, Shaka Laka Boom Boom and is the brainchild of Leeds based, Mezzo Films.

Artisans of the TV ad

A TV ad was  produced at our studios today by Max Bilbow of Rattle Media for their client Goldtempest Media and starred actor Steve Arnold as the presenter for Artisan Homes.  This is Artisans first foray in to the word of TV advertising and the it is hoped that the soon to be aired ad will take the profile of the company to the next level.

It all makes perfect sense… Hisense!

A video for the launch of a 65 inch TV from Hisense was shot today at Positive Image. Whilst you may not have heard of Hisence, they are in fact the worlds 4th largest manufacturer of TV's and are poised to be introduced into the UK market to compete with the likes of Samsung and Sony.

We can always use a hand with the strimming!

Positive Image was chosen as the location for a two day video shoot for Grass Cutting Systems manufacturer, BesserTrim. The video will be made up of green screen shots done in the studio and also makes extensive use of various locations throughout the farm.
